President Clinton thinks that the Irish horse Dullahan can cause an upset in the Belmont Stakes on Saturday when I’ll Have Another will try for the Triple Crown

The former president  was interviewed at the Meadowlands Racetrack Friday evening, and was asked about the prospects for I’ll Have Another .

“I’d say he’s got a good chance; it looked like he had some juice left at the end of both those races,” said Clinton of I’ll Have Another. “But the real wildcard, I think, is the horse that finished third in the

Derby, what’s his name? The Irish name? Dullahan  … you know, the Belmont might be a good race for him because he closed just as strong as I’ll Have Another and he came out of maybe more interference. So, if that horse has a race like he had in the Derby, he could still give I’ll Have Another a race.”

Dullahan is owned by the Donegal Racing Stables and the name Dullahan is that of an Irish horror character from mythology.

Clinton was the special guest at a dinner held for  United States Senator from New Jersey Robert Menendez at the Meadowlands’ Pegasus Restaurant.

HA, HA, HA, Irish horse? Donegal Racing Stables is in IOWA, NOT Ireland. Delusional beyond belief.
To cillowen: St. Patrick was an Englsih lad until he was kidnapped shortly after his 16th birthday with the name of Maewyn Succat. Willie C and his Irish blarney knows a thing or three about this horse. I know he comes across as the "Music Man" but like it or not with all of his charm he does "know the territory". Strangely, the little boy soul comes through from the lad from Hope, Arkansas, who according to a political cartoon in the Chicago Tribune was indeedie "the first black president". According to Newsweek, Obummer is "the first gay president" and isn't that a kettle of fish compared to JFK?
Willie boy with his charm and blarney is up to something. He makes Obummer look like a farm hand who knows nothing about the economy. I am sure that he is opening the door for his wife. The Irish would support Clinton. Obimini is just another story of radical socialism and redistribution of wealth. Willie C has made recent statements about capital production as if he knows what he is talking about. The big 0 has been talking through his posterior and has no clue. Obviously, the answer is for Romney to "pull the magic rabbit out of his hat" and to "slay the dragon" by offering Hillary the v.p. slot on his ticket as a reconciliation maneuver. Willie boy could then be offered a major slot in the administration such as Supreme Court justice. Romney has all of the cards in his hand and needs to play his four aces and get rid of the "joker". Semper Fi.
No disrespect to Irish named horses, but Dullahan's 4.20 Dosage Index says he can't handle a mile and a half. True, he finished a strong closing 3rd in the Kentucky Derby, but he didn't win. Spectacular Bid, at 4.00 Dosage, won the 1979 Derby & Preakness. Then, he finished a disappointing 3rd to Coastal, in the Belmont Stakes. My picks are pretty standard: 1) I'll Have Another 2) Union Rags 3) Dullahan I will be there on June 9th, and hope to see the 1st Triple Crown since Affirmed won it, in 1978. I was also at Belmont in 1977 & 1973, when Seattle Slew & Secretariat won theie Triple Crowns. In fact, 6/9 will be the 39th anniversary of Secretariat's Belmont Stakes victory!
He knows horses-he rode Monica!
