Agree with profjulienne, although terribly disappointed for him. He looked as though he could win, after he last 2 years of disappointment. Read on the European Tour website that he decided to stay to do a clinic for the kids tomorrow. Said he'd start with how to properly replace the ball. That's a good sport with an Irish sense of humor!

Daughter of a scratch golfer late of Royal Dublin, this is what I love about golf, it is a sport (the only one that I can think of) that is buts the onus of honesty on the player. I admire Mr Harrington's honesty and acceptance of his fate in this particular competition. In my mind this enables him to be an icon of the sport. I am sure that there are those that disagree with me, however, given the wheeling and dealing of those "charge" of my homeland, honesty stands out here.
