Padraig Harrington and Ryder Cup winners will play at Nedbank Golf Challenge
Irish golf sensation Padraig Harrington will be among the five European Ryder Cup-winning players taking part in the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa in December.
Harrington will be joined by Englishmen Lee Westwood and Ross Fisher as well as Italy’s Edoardo Molinari and Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez in the 12-man field for the 5 million dollar tournament at Sun City casino resort.
The tournament which is played annually will celebrate its 30 anniversary in 2010.
Tournament director Alastair Roper told the press: "We were always hopeful that we could secure the participation of the very best players for what is a very special tournament."
Roper added that the lack of top U.S. players was unfortunate, with Tiger Woods hosting the Chevron World Challenge on the same weekend.
