McClean did play well for the first half. It looked like the Irish were out of shape and ran out of gas. Once again, Dunne was great. Westwood was a bit unsure in goal. He has good reflexes but his footwork is suspect. The Bosnians used an umbrella defense and Ireland could not crack it. They formed a semi circle around Keane and nullified him completely. They were looking for his "flick" passes and they reacted accordingly. You can't win if you can't score. The Irish need more height in the penalty area. Walters has the height but he is far too clumsy to be of use. The long goal was actually a fluke but set up well by McGaidy who brought a spark with him in the second half. Neverthless, there continues to be a great concern over the Irish inability to score. Keane carries the squad on his back and the Bosnians knew that. Duff does quite well on the right wing with a left foot. That is the offense. Keane sets up. Duff gives him the ball and "puff" with no "magic dragon" to finish it off. They need a big foot and it might be McGaidy.
