Coach Brian Kelly might be the toast of South Bend and the chosen man to lead the Irish back to winning ways, but not everyone is happy with his new career choice.

The new man in charge of the blue and gold tweeted Sunday at what he found at his house:

"Spent most of the morning on the phone with recruits. House got egged last night and the sign on the lawn wasn't a FOR SALE sign."

However, Kelly saw the funny side of it when he later tweeted about his respect for the people of Cincinnati:

"Family dinner included a side dish of scrambled eggs (LOL) Kidding aside the people of Cincy have been awesome."

The new coach has wasted no time in getting to know his players, and with Jimmy Clausen gone, he is talking a strong interest in backup quarterback Dayne Crist.

"Before I left campus I watched high school film of QB Dayne Crist & had a good conversation w/him. He was smiling from ear to ear. Me too," tweeted Kelly on Saturday.

Crist for quarterback then?  IrishCentral will be keeping tabs on Kelly's tweeter account for clues!
