Danica Patrick, who has just scored a new deal with Boost Mobile Cell Phones, has joined the rarified world of Maria Sharapova, Venus and Serena Williams and Michelle Wie as the only female athletes earning more than $10 million in endorsements.

Patrick is expected to race in next month's ARCA Re/Max Series at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif.

However, former NASCAR racer Kyle Petty says he doesn't expect to see anything special from the newly minted $10M woman.

"She's not really shown anything (in the Indy Racing League) and won races and done stuff over there numbers wise,'' Petty said. "She's just a marketing machine. I hope she's successful, but let's look at the facts and be blunt about it."

"She can come over, but I look at Dario Franchitti, I look at Tony Stewart … I look at Juan Montoya who came over from open-wheel,'' Petty said.

"Montoya car control-wise is probably one of the most amazing you've ever seen. It took him three years at this level before he got really were he could race-race. And she's not Juan Montoya and she's not Dario Franchitti and she's not Tony Stewart."
