Intermediate final
Donegal’s 12 Title
Donegal 4-12 Rangers 1-12
Donegal are the 2012 Intermediate champions and move up into the senior ranks after a clinical second half display where they used three goals to completely over power a game Rangers side. There was just a goal between the sides at the break with Donegal holding a 1-07 to 0-07 advantage. The goal came in the first minute from Justin Burke. After four Rangers points in reply, Donegal had the best of the closing minutes with James Moynagh, Burke and CJ Molloy all on the score sheet.
angers did have a goal from Ronan Caffrey to level the contest with ten minutes gone in the second half. It was all Donegal in the aftermath however as they outscored their opponents 3-03 to 0-03 to put serious space between the sides. Moynagh had the bookend goals while Mickey Annett had a cracker with ten minutes left.
