More pressure for Notre Dame’s Manti Te’o as NFL draft creep closer

wjb1tex, agreed. I think a lot of it has to do with the traditional "hate ND" crowd. I feel badly for Manti Teo. But I would certainly love to have him play for Browns!

I thought putting him in Heisman consideration was not a good choice. There were several better linebackers who don't play for ND. However now it appears some people are going overboard in the other direction. He is a solid player who can find the ball carrier and tackle. All that stuff about speed and jumping is interesting but you can be assured there are lots of players with those attributes who never amount to anything. London Fletcher ran slow and couldn't jump but he has been an excellent linebacker for more years than most. Remember that the experts all told us how important size is for quarterbacks. Now we find Russell Wilson at 5-10 and Drew Brees at barely 6 feet and a few others who will be in the Hall of Fame. How tall was Montana and Bradshaw ?
