Dull game as Kingdom ousts Royals

FULL TIME: Kerry 2-08 Meath 1-07

Kerry are off to yet another All-Ireland SFC final, and we can only hope their game picks up.

A dreadful afternoon's football saw 32 wides from both sides in a dull affair at Croke Park.

Meath did well in the opening stages but a goal from Kerry's Tommy Walsh early on in the second half doomed the Royals to defeat.

Cian Ward scored a last-minute goal for Meath, but all it did was take the bad look off the scoreline.

Meanwhile, Mayo go into the All-Ireland minor final after beating Down 2-09 0-09.

They will face Armagh in the finals
