Judge mocks Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney in court
Says he wonders how player has time to play with all his endorsements
Wayne Rooney was the target of a recent joke by a senior British judge who questioned the amount of public appearances by the Manchester player when he told a court: “It's a wonder he's got time to play.”
Lord Justice Sullivan was responding to statements during a recent sitting of the Court of Appeal in London where a sports management firm is at war over a previous contract with the 25-year-old player.

“It's a wonder he's got time to play football, he's making so many personal appearances,' said Lord Justice Sullivan.
“For Nike, for Coca-Cola... It's a wonder he's got time to practice.”
