“I got phone calls when I missed one or two matches when I was 20 or 21 and Nottingham Forest wouldn’t let me go and I was told I’d never play for Ireland again.”

Curitiba, why do you think anyone has any interest in reading you complain about your own stupidity? You made a choice to read the article; you were not coerced. I suggest for your face tattoo you go with, "This is what I'm like."
Five minutes of my life reading about Keane is five minutes I'll never get back. I'd regret it less if I spent that 5 minutes having my face tattooed.
They wouldn't have got to Saipan only for him and we haven't a fvckin hope in the Euros. If Keane was a jackeen he would be idolised. I remember the clowns from the Irish "supporters" calling him a traitor on tv. They supported the FAI......not the team!!!!!!!!!! His actions turned the Irsh set-up from laughing stock to some way professional. I will take this lion hearted "sicko moran" over the cowards and liggers anytime. He put more into 90 minutes than other clowns did in their careers!!
A testimony to the Irish National Team set-up. He is not the only one to complain.
