Irish racer Danica Patrick may give green light to NASCAR on Monday
Will Monday finally be the day Irish racer Danica Patrick's plans to step into a NASCAR speeder?
On her Twitter page, Patrick says she'll be appearing Monday on "Good Morning America." And website hosting giant GoDaddy.com has a hard-to-miss box on its home page to "Check back (Monday) for our BIG announcement with Danica Patrick."
You can bet that NASCAR fans will be checking back.
According to recent reports by SportingNews.com, both the Dale Earnhardt/Rick Hendrick camp and Michael Waltrip Racing were still talking to the Irish beauty about signing up. JR Motorsports still appears to be the frontrunner in any stock car deal.
If all this comes to pass, GoDaddy.com will likely be sponsoring Patrick in her Indy car. She has been working on a new contract in the IndyCar series and is expected to announce a new deal with Andretti Autosport on Monday.
