All it took to bring his adventure to an end was for one Estonian official to wonder why on earth an Estonian looked so thrilled about Ireland's qualification.
'She came over to me and started talking to me and I just said I had to bring the bag of footballs back,' Cunningham said.
It wasn't until he produced the video proof that his friends believed he'd .
'I was so excited I decided to post a lot of the stuff on YouTube. I still can't believe what happened, it's one of the most amazing experiences of my life,' Cunningham said.

I must admit this story gave me a great laugh & a ‘Fair Dues’ salute to him... BUT! But but but!.. This shows up a huge security blunder by the Lansdowne Road stadium staff. What’s worse about it is the publicity that has been given to the story, especially via YouTube and how he got pitch-side with a bag of balls. Now every wanna-be terrorist has the makings of a plot to slip in and hit the Olympics in London next year, or ANY sporting event anywhere in the US or any country. A bag of balls casually slung over the shoulder? Nope; how about a bag of bombs looking like balls... Suddenly Conor’s caper is not funny anymore.
