Irish Olympic team hold their medals high as they arrive home at Dublin airport

I note Ulster Television (UTV) SixOne teatime news dumbed down the tricolour waving from the cockpit footage, as also all other displays of Irish nationalism inconsistant with Britishness intranationalism. One wag (ie funny guy/wiseacre/wit) interviewd on the streets of Belfast said the wins would be "... good for Belfast. Good for Northern Ireland. Good for Ireland generally. And good for the UK."(?) Hmmm!
