The Irish team beat the Tri-Nations champions on a dismal day in Croke Park. Jonny Sexton, a newcomer to the team as out-half, gave a brilliant performance, kicking 15 points in all. The score was 15-10.
At half time South Africa were 10-6 in front, but Ireland came back after the break following a penalty kick. The Irish team kept their lead for the second half, going on to beat South Africa for the third time in a row, according to a Reuters report.
This means Ireland goes into to the Six Nations tour next year with 11 straight wins. Congratulations again to the boys in green.
