What about football (soccer)? Ireland has their final two group matches for Euro 2012 on 7 and 11 October. The matches are at a lightweight and then at home against an upstart Armenia. If they win out, they should be second and forced into a playoff to qualify. The last two matches were 0-0 at home against Slovakia and at Russia on artificial turf and outshot 24-3 with only one shot on goal and a "puff of air" at that. Corners were 12-1 in favor of Russia. An excellent keeper and awake d-backs on the goalline kept them from going under. The Italian style of defensive football is very boring! Maybe, they could borrow a couple of rugby players.
