I am all for the "lads in green" and Trap is a good coach. However you can't win, if you can't score. The Germans and Dutch have "shock troop" capability. Bosnia triple teamed Keane with an umbrella defense. Hungary was just a lot quicker. That is what you look for from Spain. If you pull back a striker, you look for Keane to be nullified and the Irish will score no goals in their group. At the same time, the current offensive formation is too predictable and currently with no clout. They need a "big foot". The bigger strikers are just too clumsy. Move McGaidy up to allow for his "cannon" foot.
