Deal to be done on Monday ahead of debut against Everton
Ireland captain Robbie Keane is poised to complete his loan move to Aston Villa – much to the delight of manager Alex McLeish.
The LA Galaxy star is expected in Birmingham on Monday to finalise his two month loan deal from the MLS club.
Keane will return to America at the end of February after Villa agreed a deal that will cost them $1million over the next seven weeks.

The Ireland striker wants to maintain his fitness ahead of Euro 2012 this summer and could make his debut against Everton this weekend.
“Robbie is a very experienced player, who has got great movement and can hurt defenders,” said McLeish.
“We’ve got reports that he looks in much better condition than he did this time last year when he joined West Ham.”
