It's very easy to lead a torch bearing haranguing lynchmob to parade ones sanctimoniousness. What troubles me is what damaged that little boy called David (and many more besides) all those years ago. It's a psychotherapeutic truism that those who abuse children in any way are usually unconsciously recapitulating what was done to them at that precise age, and in that precise way. Violence is the language of the unheard. Should we not take the cotton wool out of our ears? To understand all IS to forgive all!
