God lighten up you lot, can you not see he's just having a bit of fun? He's a joker like a lot of Belfast boys I know! He doesn't look a "vain attention seeker" to me, I just see a guy who's making the most of the experience and not taking himself too seriously. How much of an ego can you have to approach other athletes and ask them for a photo? Keep her lit Paddy.
There was a Bronze Medal won in the 50's for boxing. The Boxer was from Drogheda. I cannot remember his name. This would be "the first" but it could be said the first gold or silver. This article does not say which one he won. E.B
Well done Paddy....had the begging bowl out for the whole World to see....and during the opening ceremony too....lol. Letting the side down in front of the international media, still, old habits die hard I guess. Any chance of actually winning a medal?
Are you for real??? You give him a column, how about writing about some of our other amazing, dedicated athletics, like Aileen Morrison, who unfortunately skidded of her bike on Saturday. She still went on to finish the Triathlon. I know Aileen, she spent many Summers (when she was on the Derry swim team)here in my home with me and my family in New Jersey. She is ranked in the top ten 10 Triathlons in the World, she is a dedicated, amazing, positive lady who has done Ireland Proud, and will continue too do so. Irish Central, why could you not write about her, instead of this nonsense? Aileen we love you and are so proud of you!
What a tosser he is. Who cares if he typed a message on his telephone? This is not news. All we learn here is that he is a vain attention seeker who wants publicity for his trivial actions and his imaginary autograph-seeking Olympians.
such a positive comment torbreezy :-) NOT!!
"Fifteen seconds of fame" for tweeting?
