"It has not been easy choosing 23 players because we have many other very good players who deserve to be here. I have said already James McCarthy for example. I have spoken with all the players on the standby list and those who are not taking part in the campaign."

Who is John McCarthy??? Seriously, com'on
Pretty much the squad that everyone was expecting. Sorry to hear about James McCarthy's situation. Surprised to see Hunt making the trip, Thought that Liam Lawerence would be mentioned in the standby list at least.
Come on Italy, Croatia and Spain stuff this lot. I hope the Free staters get kicked where it hurts out of the Euros. Lets hope Thierry Henry gives them the old hand of God again. They are only making up the numbers in any case.
