Celtic join Aston Villa in chase to land Ireland captain Robbie Keane
Another Parkhead loan deal on the table for Galaxy striker
Celtic manager Neil Lennon has offered Irish captain Robbie Keane a return to Parkhead.
The Bhoys boss has joined the queue of clubs prepared to offer LA Galaxy striker Keane a two month loan deal.
Currently training with former club Spurs, Keane is also wanted by Aston Villa and Newcastle United.
The Irish skipper has decided to seek a short term move back to the Premier League to boost his fitness ahead of Euro 2012.
When he signed for the Galaxy last August, Keane insisted he would not play in England during the MLS off-season.

But now, with Galaxy team-mate Landon Donovan already at Everton ‘til March, Keane is ready to make a Premier League return.
Villa are the frontrunners for his signature and are believed to have opened talks with the Galaxy on the finances and insurance issues related to a short-term deal.
Irish team-mates Richard Dunne and Shay Given are already at the Birmingham club and have spoken to manager Alex McLeish about Keane’s potential.
But Celtic is a lure for the Ireland captain after his highly successful loan spell there two years ago.
