Being told you have cancer does change everything in your future. You first think: I am going to die. Then, you think: screw that I will fight this thing and win. You then go through all manner of treatments and feel pretty good about the outcome of the game...then four or five years downstream your Doctor says: we didn't get it all. A game changing moment and one you never forget. Then new treatments to put off the end game...then the waiting...your life is never the same...live it to the fullest, it may end tomorrow, or maybe later today.
