His feats at Cincinnati have confounded even the best estimates for the program there. He has Notre Dame in his blood and a Fighting Irish spirit in his heart.
The talk of Bob Stoops of Oklahoma is ridiculous. Outside Oklahoma and its shoddy recruiting practices he will be nothing. He had a lousy season this year. He is a coach on the decline
Kelly must replace Weis or Notre Dame is heading for another losing run.The fans have had enough of that.

Who ever ND gets as a football coach, they need a college football coach, not a pro or any other kind of coach. A coach that knows how to recruit young men that want a college education and play football at a BIG name college like ND. and get ND back in contenion for a National Champingship.

Sean, you think Brian Kelly is the best coach in the country? Ever heard of Urban Meyer?
He fits the Irish like a glove? What does that mean?
He is the ONLY name ND should consider? Please explain why.
Bob Stoops is a coach on the decline? Yes, Oklahoma had a poor year, but you base your opinion on 1 bad year and ignore the previous decade?
There are plenty of reasons that show that Brian Kelly is not the best choice for ND. Experience with a major program being at the top. His wife's outspoken Pro Choice stance is another.
You are talking out your sphincter.

I will be sorely disappointed if we settle for Kelly.
If Meyer is content in Florida, go get Stoops.
