Finally something that can be agreed upon. Clearly Stokes can offer sympathy to family and friends of Ryan. Just don't go overboard with the twitter and such. I believe that Lennon received a bullet in the post. Such threats by the pro-brit deathsquads continue to this day. Heard that Pete Robinson and Naomi Long both received threats the other day over the flag nonsense. The thing about the Celtics are their diverse fan base that blends provos with dissidents along with blue shirts and ff. If you like rebel songs you are going to love a Celtic home match. Of course Seano is correct, Stokes can attend any funeral/memorial service he chooses. He just needs to remember that the blue shirts are watching him in collusion with the mob.

true to the history of a people so terrorized by glorious Empire whose dealing in humans boggles the mind. Genocidal Famine masters
must not be reminded of their slaving/convict shipping ways Cromwell and Saxon Hitler is in their genes. Let free speech reign. Play ball .

I do believe he would go to Hitlers Funeral if he were his friend also. With friends like this who needs enemies.

Stokes has every right to attend the funeral of any individual he likes a plague on the naysayers.

The problem is that Celtic has a hisotry of receiving anti-Catholic violence. Lennon himself received a "nail bomb". This does not need to be "blown up" into a major distraction. It is called common sense. Ryan was a friend. However, be low key about your respect. Do not confligrate a renewed civil war in Scotland.

Fair play to Stokes in not denying his friend.
