Irish Central Help Center - Using Photo Galleries 

Having trouble using the photo/image galleries. Here are some simple guidelines that may help.

Profile Galleries
Profile galleries allow a registered user to create their own photo galleries (albums) and populate them with their own photos. Other users can then comment on and recommend Persona photos.

Your Photo Galleries
There is also Your Photo Gallerieswhich is various public galleries into which you can post your own photos too.

To create a new photo album:
Click on the ‘create a new photo album' link and complete the boxes shown. You can then click on the upload photos to this album link and browse for those pictures you wish to upload. You then have the opportunity to give your picture a title and description. By adding tags you will facilitate finding the image by certain words through search engines.

To post to an album
Select the gallery you wish to add to and click on "Upload photos to this album?" This will give you a browser box to locate the picture you wish to upload. If you would like to upload several pictures click on Add another for each new picture. Once you have selected all the images, click on Upload, after having ticked the "I agree to the Terms and Conditions" box. This will give you boxes in which you can name your picture, add tags so it can be located using a search function and give a brief description of the photo. When you have completed these click on Submit.
You will also have the ability to recommend both galleries and images as well as add any favourite ones to your Watch List.

Please remember all pictures uploaded must be your own images or ones to which you have the copyright. If you are posting a picture of someone else please be sure they are happy for you to upload it on this site. Also, be aware that all pictures can be seen by the world and his wife. Don't post anything you don't want your children, neighbours, the police, Uncle Harry and all to see.
