The O'Connor clan

Iam an liverpool scouser and very proud to be from the irish republic ancestry we arrived in liverpool in the 18th century and had nothing we have growin up in liverpool and this is now are home but we love ireland and when we go back we feel a very warm feeling as if are hearts are there , we all have been gifted very good genetics genes

Mr. Moriarty, Thank you so much for this research. My grandfather came from Kerry as a teenager. Worked to bring his mother and sisters over. Bought them a boarding house for income, then put himself through Harvard. He was so modest and kind, even though he bacame quite successful. I am not surprised to learn the proud history of this clan,of which he was a sterling example. I don't know if this is a clan trait, but his sisters were the most beautiful women I have ever seen, and very gifted musicians.

I think I may be related to Tim O'Connor, Ireland's Consul General. As best I know my Irish ancestors came from the Dingle Peninsula area of Ireland. I have very vague memories of my great grandmother talking of Shannon and Limerick.
