Mr. Moriarty, Thank you so much for this research. My grandfather came from Kerry as a teenager. Worked to bring his mother and sisters over. Bought them a boarding house for income, then put himself through Harvard. He was so modest and kind, even though he bacame quite successful.
I am not surprised to learn the proud history of this clan,of which he was a sterling example. I don't know if this is a clan trait, but his sisters were the most beautiful women I have ever seen, and very gifted musicians.

I think I may be related to Tim O'Connor, Ireland's Consul General. As best I know my Irish ancestors came from the Dingle Peninsula area of Ireland. I have very vague memories of my great grandmother talking of Shannon and Limerick.
