John Martin Kelly here, wish I knew if I were related to the above, my son and I are the last of our line, all my father's brothers are deceased, his sisters long gone and no one kept the family history. Not one of my father's three brothers had a son. I have one son and he and my daughter-in-law so far have one daughter. Will continue to work on the family's backround and one day hope to travel to Ireland.
This is pretty cool. I definitely feel Irish. My mother's maiden name is Kelly, she is dark haired with brown eyes, and so am I; however her father was brown haired with blue eyes, and so was his father. My mother's sister had brown hair and blue eyes as well. I have three children, Ryan, Jeanna and Kelly. My grandfather Kelly lived to be 100 years old, in good health til the last year. He was godfearing, bible reading, gentle natured person. He was very intelligent, and dignified. I am very proud of my Kelly heritage.
Kelly with the green green eyes.
Since my maiden name was Kelly, I agree it's a wonderful name.
Your registration form has no space to check for having ONE Irish parent. That makes me HALF Irish, but since I FEEL and Irish always have, it must be my better half! Kelly was my mother's maiden name, and it became my nickname, then stuck to me like a loving burr!
How about Kelley ? that's my family name - My GGGG Grandad imigrated to Virginia in 1773 and fought the English to free the uture USA! I'm not sure which county my GGGG Grandad came from - he sailed from England after his family left Ireland.
I'm amazed that someone forgot Grace Kelly... Amazing Grace
What about Gene Kelly??!!! I can't believe you left him out - he's the most famous of all next to Emmett Kelly.
I married Kelly!
