Are you a Twin? Does your Twin live in Canada, The United States, Australia, or Europe? If so Twin Fest Ireland is offering you the opportunity to be reunited in Ireland this August with your twin.

Twin Fest Ireland, the national festival for twins in Ireland, in conjunction with the Gathering Ireland 2013, has launched a very unique competition. The competition, launched internationally around the globe hopes to reunite twins at this year’s festival taking place in in Keash, County Sligo, on August 24.

The competition is open to twins who are separated by geography. Also one of the twins must reside in Ireland. To enter you need to be a twin, living abroad and over the age of 18.  Visit the TwinFest website to enter and fill out the form.

The prize includes return flights into Ireland to attend Twin Fest Ireland,  on August 24,  and one night accommodation for you and your twin at a  four-star Sligo Hotel for the night.

So if you are a twin and your twin lives in another country log on and tell the Twin Fest Team why they should fly your Twin home to Ireland to be reunited at Twin Fest 2013. Winners will be chosen by the Twin Fest Team judges one week after the competition closes. Competition will close on July 1, 2013.

Twin Fest Ireland is the National Festival for twins triplets and all multiples in Ireland. It was created as a festival to bring together identical, fraternal, young and old, twins, triplets ,quads and their families in one location from all parts of Ireland while raising funds for chosen charities.

The Festival originated as an idea to raise funds for what was known as the Meningitis Trust in memory of an Angle, Katie Garvey who at aged five months succumbed to this deadly disease on Valentine’s Day 2007.Katie’s parents Martha and George wished to make aware to other parents at how life treating Meningitis can be by sharing their story with others and providing funds too. Patrick Ward Katie’s uncle who himself is a twin pushed this idea, to which is now Ireland’s National Festival for Twins.

To date Twin Fest has awarded funds totaling €14,654 to the following charities The Meningitis Trust, The Little Fighters Fund, Act for Meningitis, and Keash Village Enchantment Ltd.

Twin Fest Ireland 2013 are delighted to be supporting ACT for Meningitis.
