Day Four of the North American Irish Dancing Championships, kicked off in Orlando, FL, this morning, with competition in Girls categories between the Under 8 and Under 16 age groups.

The Atlantic and Pacific ballrooms at the Disneyworld Dolphin resort were filling up before 0800am this morning, as competition got underway early in the morning.

Competition followed the usual structure at the event, with hard shoe and soft shoe round, with the first recalls expected early in the afternoon. Peter Smith, one of the pioneers of Irish dancing in America, was present as always, with his grand-niece competing in the Girls Under 8 category this morning.

At 10:30am this morning, the Girls U11A was just getting underway, while the U11Bs were just about to start in Pacific A ballroom.
