Eric Schilling and Andy Harlander provided plenty of color and flair around Kimmel Center Tuesday, with painted faces, national flags draped around the shoulders and wizard hats to celebrate being at the 2009 World Dance championships.

The two are part of the group over from the Irish Dance Centre in Vienna. The center, which opened in 2002, started with just three children and six adults. It now teaches upwards of about 100 students.

“We are spectators and are very proud to be here, we have four dancers from Vienna here for the Oireachtas and it is a sensation,” said Harlander.

The four, all girls, have represented Austria well and the lads are just delighted that they have come this far.

Its Andy’s second trip to America and it an Austrian thumbs up from him. “We are having a great time here, “continued Harlander, as the two went off to take in the sights sounds and steps from day three of the championships.
