Hundreds of people are expected to gather on Friday, November 9th for the annual GOAL NYC Ball.

The charity event is being held to raise funds for the international aid organization and their work across the developing world. Guest speaker on the night is Ambassador Anne Anderson, Ireland’s permanent representative to the United Nations.

The event will take place at Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadway, with a red carpet, hors d’oeuvre and cocktail reception awaiting guests upon arrival from 7.30 pm.

Guests will also enjoy a gourmet dinner, open bar, live band, a casino, a raffle, a silent auction, a live auction later on in the night and the by now legendary GOAL NYC Ball after-party.

James Kelly, GOAL USA Director, spoke about the importance of the event: “It’s not every Friday night that you get the chance to save lives. Anybody who attends the Ball is guaranteed to help save and shape the lives of those living in extreme poverty. The title of the Ball this year is actually called ‘A Night of Promises’, as we plan to show how we’ve followed through on the commitments we made last year and make some new ones as well.”

Over its 35-year history, the organization has sent in excess of 2,300 volunteers to work alongside many thousands of local staff in more than 50 countries and has spent over $930 million on delivering aid to the poor.

Those wishing to support the GOAL NYC Ball can purchase individual tickets priced at $250 or VIP individual tickets priced at $500 which include preferred seating; book a corporate table for 10 people; donate prizes or auction items, or simply make a financial contribution towards the cost of holding the Ball.
