I am thrilled to read this. I collect only "made in Ireland" Waterford crystal and as of Jan. 2009 I thought my supply of newly made "in Ireland" Waterford was gone for good. I hope they will make more than the fabulously expensive one of a kind crystal at the new facility. I am also very happy for the City of Waterford as she will once again be receiving hundreds of thousands of crystal loving tourists and some of the Waterford workers will be getting their jobs back.

My understanding is that none of the crystal will be made in Ireland. I was informed it would come from Malaysia. Hope I was misinformed.

As one who only collects "made in Ireland" Waterford I am delighted to hear this news. Once again thousands of aficionadoes will visit the Waterford center and yes, return home with a piece or two.

I am so glad to see that things are starting to look up for Waterford Crystal. My mother and I took the tour in 2003. I have acquired several pieces of Waterford since that I treasure.

Happy to see Waterford Crystal will reopen. The last time I was there was in 2002. It was very impressive
