OFFS jesus you make me sick What a load of rubbish still think "The Quiet Man is the best movie ever made and the irish man smart enough to leave is as thick as cow dung like the Irish that came in the '60's
Don't forget that he's probably Ukrainian. Get a DNA test and make sure he's a true "RL21" (Irish)
Hmmm, we're all Irish in my family going back three generations to grandparents on both sides of my family and both sides of my husband's family. My grandfathers, father, father-in-law, uncles, brothers, male cousins and sons are all over 6 feet tall (ranging from 6 feet to my youngest brother, who is 6 feet 5 inches tall). So that's not true in the least. Also, fair warning to all you gals -- and I give this advice to my daughters, too -- Irishmen aren't looking for wives. They're looking for mommies. Just sayin'.
everyday this website gets stranger
@stevenstar, maybe living with you caused your Am. Ex to exhibit all that wacky drama. Maybe it had nothing to do with being American and everything to do with personality compatibility. At least you've found the person you can live with it and who can live with you, so hopefully you'll live happily ever after.
Oh God, who is trying to fool the women here? The irish man will do all of the above, get you bonded in marriage, own you and children like a horse, take all your money as he feels it is his right. Try to divorce and you got to wait 4 to 5 years with him and you might end up in mental hospital in order to escape. Get wise sisters. The men of Eire are all programmed from Roma to believe they are superior to women and children and have a god given right to use and abuse. This brainwashing needs to be gotten rid of and fast.
@Ireland North, Jonathan Rhys Meyers was born an O'Keeffe in Ireland and grew up in Co. Cork.
sfallen | Apr 16, 2012, 09:17 PM EDT All very true... He'll charm you, keep you laughing, entertain you non stop... BUT will he commit ??? yes, all true but you forgot to mention the charming psychopath abuser.
"I'm now back in [Northern] Ireland with a nice reserved English person [male/female?] which suits me down to the ground" - [as an anally retentive/sexually repressed Ulster Presbyterian?] P. Is Johanthan Reys Meyers not Welsh?

Can't argue with this one. Brilliant and well done! (I'm on my third martini.)
