Ah, come on. Richard Gere and Bill Maher as the top ten most beautiful Irish? Please, we all know better than that. If you're going to give us the Irish, then please, give us the Irish!

Richard Gere and Bill Maher aren't Irish, and Daniel Day Lewis was born and raised in England.

If you felt compelled to pick a member of U2, any of the other three are better looking than Bono. Larry is widely regarded as the best looking, followed by Adam. Bono is fourth. Even he would admit it.

Gere and Maher… ah now! Did the author get bored with this half way through? There’s a host of Irish born males over 50 to choose from – Sports - Packie Bonner, Literature – Sebastian Barry, Commerce – Michael O’Leary (yes I would!), Broadcaster – Richard Crowley…. Etcetera etcetera. If you’re going to throw in Gere and Maher you may as well name Obama.

I would have put Pierce Brosnan and Gabriel Byrne closer to the top, Bill Maher?#!*? Don't forget the charm!

I don't know why Richard Gere and Bill Maher are on this list. They're Americans - not Irish.
