The name is Ciara not Kiara. Please stop making irish names up! You should be embarrassed!
Colin Powell could very well be Irish. He is the son of Jamaican immigrants. Many of the Irish were transported to St. Kitts and Nevis by the Brits in the early 1600's. It is estimated that it could be as high as 25,000. They intermarried with other slave populations resulting in a mixed race on the island who also immigrated to such islands as Jamaica. My own surname is well represented on St. Kitts and my father was born in Roscommon. Too many of your readers are just too hidebound to accept anything that might deviate from their small worlds.
Morgan is Scottish , Brayden i dont know where that comes from never heard of it , and kaitlyn is spelled Caitlin..This site is a bit ridicules you cant make up Irishness if it has no connection to Ireland and most of your articles give a negitive view of Ireland
Author of this valuable article has done wonderful research. Publishing top names is easy but selecting them is not so easy. Irish names are most search query on Google. Babynology also recorded most searching term is "Irish Names" Thanks ANTOINETTE KELLY
I don't have time or interest to critique this stupid blarney. I'll just take one name--Colin. It ain't Irish, despite the nonsensical author of the above article. The Irish name is Colm. Or are they telling us Colin Powell is Irish? I guess Beyonce and Gaga are Irish names too?
