I'm very Irish and married an Irishman. He drank and drank and drank. Finally, I thought...perhaps you can beat him up. He is wobbly from those evil spirits. I did it and he cried and said he would go to a battered men's shelter. I offered to drive him. Next, after 23 years of heck, the divorce was final. I sometimes wonder if alcoholism is genetic with Irish men. My Father was 100% Irish and never raised his hand or his voice. There must be men like him but I've honestly not found one.

They forgot one very important aspect. Irish woman love making love and they don't punish by withholding it from their husbands. It really doesn't take much to make an Irishman happy. Husband who works hard and tells his wife that he loves her and of course he needs to like to make love too.

Not really unlike all women of Western culture...there are aberrations, but if you can find a woman with all these attributes, grab her, the aberrations are far worse...don't marry and English woman..period.
