Essentially a very Irish answer to a hangover is to get right back up on that high stool and order another drink. “The hair of the dog” can often be the best solution to that horrific headache. When it seems nothing can take the edge away, just breathe a sigh of inevitability as you walk through the door of your local pub, retracing your movements from the night before.  If you can’t beat the hangover then distill it.

So there you have it. A few guidelines to beating the effects of the night before. Do you have any others to share? Let us know how you they work for you!

Irish? Hangover? Oh right -- got you now. Irish equals drunk. Another image triumph for Irish Central.
I didn't drink any alcohol at all after about 7 pm New Year's Eve. For some of the evening, I prayed for the US of A. New Year's Eve is a night I don't want to be out with amateur drinkers.
Don't Drink too much...How bout that...Can't have fun without getting slobberingly foolish...? then you deserve it.
Tylenol may not be a good idea as it's mentabolzed by the liver, already done in by the drinking. Advil is perhaps better, but with food.
