Yes, the space needs filling with Irish Americans who are aware of, and care about their Irish heritage.
Re 'The top ten Irish Americans'-Oh come on Miss Hayes! The space needs filling, but it seems you are so bereft of inspiration, that you are reduced to filling it which such rubbish! Your readers deserve better than this.
I would edit out the Irish Americans that are only distantly and partly Irish AND who don't ever write about Irish themes: Mariah Carey, Barack Obama, Paris Hilton, for example.
Importance of an ireland Try URL by using angelfire.com slash ny/border slash symbols.html
Of them all, I am glad to see Stephen Colbert on the list. He has a true Irish wit and the courage to match. He skewered George Bush at the White House Press Dinner, and the simpleton didn't even get it until the roast was just about over. The rest were pathetic sycophants by comparison. One of 11 Irish Catholic children - sounds like the America-Irish experience to me!
pathetic, if this is Irish i'll clame shittish.
Is this a joke or what?
What a collection.....if they are considered the top Irish...I will gladly declare myself Armenian or Hungarian..Many of them are people who most Irish Cathoics WOULD NOT be proud of...
#10 John McCain has been promoted to governor of Arizona or is that demotion for Senator McCain?
