As a prologue to Tim's era, one must see "Gangs of New York" by Martin Scorse. It helps sets the dynamic for the power and cohesiveniss of the Tamiany Hall machine, that established the pattern for all the big city political machines of the 20th century.
I have walked on Kenmare Street when I lived in The East Village during the 70's. There were several painters' lofts, then. What I'd love to read is the love life of Big Tim, especially with the actress. A no holds barred bio is needed about this larger than life Tammany Hall original who named a street after his mother in NEW YORK CITY. I feel Big Tim Sullivan would make a fascinating character in his own bio. Let's haave at it!!!
