What about the New Irish? You can't leave them out. You must include sections for the mBongos, the Jaraczevcskis and the Patels, Singhs and Chens. Then it'll be truly Irish!
I'm admittedly hi-tech deficient. Would it take a massive version of facebook/blog/twit or whatever to get even a small portion of us in touch and communicating?? also...thanks for the good words, Murph. I owe you a pint should ever we meet. best, JC
The irish need a facebook of their own to really connect. Lumped in with all manner of others won't bring the togetherness that the Saxon savaged so easily.
Not happy to say- I've never met a Counihan, but if you say sense of humor is a trait,I'd gladly tip a pint with ye. No one discounts an Irish name.Up the Irish!
OK guys...as usual, the Counihans are left out again! Granted, we're not a giant clan like O'Brian, Kelly, Fitzgerald, Kennedy or Schwartz, but how about a little recognition for the "B" list Irish? We've got history too!! - at least we're known for our sense of humor. Best to all Counihans everywhere. Keep your collective chins up -- we've got as much to be proud of as the big guys.
