Saint Patrick's day here in Atlanta is very proud of a Father Reilly who managed to save catholic and protestant churches during the civil war.
Mel Gibsons mother was a Reilly from Dromard in Longford. They left the area when she was 2 years old. Dont know if claiming him as one is a good idea or not!!!
NOT BAD AT ALL I HOPE TO BE MAKING SOME OF YOU HAPPY WITH SOME INFORMATION ABOUT MY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY IRELAND GOD BLESS AMERICA (REGARDS) CHRISTY
I am proud of my Irish heritage. I would like to learn more about my roots.
I am very proud of my Irish heritage. My grandparents were both from Ireland. My grandmother came to America when she was just a girl, met my grandfather in NY and married in 1900. I'm trying to do more research on their story. They passed away before I was born. I enjoy reading articles from your site! Thank you...
I am proud to know this and am not surprised as my Riley Clan here in America are strong and smart. One of my Cousins has broken a record by being elected Sheriff of our County six times, we have several family members in Law. I have traced my O'Reilly Family to County Cavan who came here for Freedom to Worship. They traveled with other Irish Families and settled in the same community and married into those Irish Families. My Grandmother was a Sullivan, O'Sullivan before arriving here. I am very Proud of my Irish Heritage and would Love so much to visit Ireland and find my O'Reilly Family.
Makes me proud !!!
