Young Ireland leader William Smith O'Brien was an M.P. for Limerick in the British Parliament in the late 1840s. In the early states of the Famine (also called the Great Hunger) O'Brien begged, besieged, implored his fellow M.P.s in the Commons to provide relief for the starving people of Ireland, but his impassione pleas fell on deaf ears. This having failed, the Limerick M.P. resorted to physical force, as mentioned in the article. Like so many of Ireland's great leaders and patriots, William Smith O'Brien was a Protestant. He was laid to rest in a mausoleum in a Church of Ireland cemetery nead Ardagh in West Limerick.
It may be well to do the "DNA TEST" to better understand which Sept or branch your family line descends - Some of us have discovered or confirmed our genealogy background with this process - GOOD LUCK

Needs to be updated again; Soledad and Miles are no longer with CNN, at least in the capacity covered, and Conan's on cable. What's with the links? At least two lead to blank pages; they don't even say the url is obsolete.
