NYCsheridan, don't see it claiming to be Irish American. You certainly couldn't be described as such.
bythebay has decided it doesn't want to belong to this Irish-American website any longer. Nice knowing you.

Well George looks like the 'wrong sort' of immigrants were coming long before the Tiger years. The Shelbourne to boot, just can't get the help these days...
Irish Central hasn't decided if it wants to be a clone of the National Enquirer.
maireadinmelb, there was a program a few months back on one of the US History Channels discussing Bridget and her son but mainly the son under the title "Hitler's Family." In it, if I remember right, he was born Patrick William but when they immigrated to the US Patrick changed his name and did so many times before his death. This was to avoid detection.
in your article you name the son as Patrick stuart and then Patrick william which is correct?
Poor Bridget really did have in-laws from hell.
Most Irish dont know that Emperor Nero fled Rome and converted to Judiasm. One of Nero's descendants is Rabbi Meir. They are well known in the Talmud. The Rothchild's are Meir descendants. That is the missing link.
Very strange and bizarre tale and very interesting.
like2weet: And why don't we call obama Berry. That the name obama went by most of his life.
Rebel Force. Citizen Why --Patrick Hitler as he was called by his mother and as he used himself served in the Naval Medical Corps ,the reporting is correct --after all shud we call Mitt Romney Willard, which is the name he was given?
No offense, but getting your history from articles at Irishcentral is a bit like reading the National Enquier to get your news.
There should have been more fact checking before this article was written. Bridget's Hitler son was named William Patrick. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He had sons, all living on Long Island, none of whom married.
What a story.........She should have returned to Ireland..........She would have fitted right in with the Nazis using opinions in Ireland to destroy generations of Irish peoples lives.
