Senator George J Mitchell honored in Maine for leadership in bringing peace to Northern Ireland

Senator Mitchell deserves much credit for arranging the peace process that led to G.F.A. and an end to violence in the region of Ireland that is still controlled by a foreign power. David Trimble and John Hume also played signicant roles in the peace process, but G.F.A. could NOT have come about were it not for the cooperation of Gerry Adams - who is still being maligned by the mainstream media.
