Irish Farmers took to the streets of Dublin baring all in aid of the charity Bothar.
The group’s 2010 Irish Farmers Calendar did so well last year that they’ve decided to start over for 2011.
Wearing little other than tweed caps and jeans the lovely Irish lads from last year’s calendar were called “100% Irish Beef." It seems that this year’s will be just as high quality.
Kevin McGonagle (23) posed for shots in the middle of Westmoreland Street, Dublin, yesterday wearing nothing but jeans, a pitchfork and a cheeky grin.
Last year’s calendar saw the hunky outdoorsmen posing with their cattle, pigs and amongst their bales of hay. This year’s edition will a see a whole new batch of farmers on the twelve month spread.
Ciara Ryan (25), from Dundrum, Dublin, set up the calendar last year when she lost her job. It went so well that she decided to launch it again this year.
"There are farmers from all over the country, they all applied through the web. But Irish farmers are a shy bunch so it's been quite difficult finding some models."
Over 20 percent of all profits made from the calendar goes to the Irish charity, Bothar. Bothar specializes in improved livestock production and support related training and community development through out Africa, South America and Asia.

Is an Irishman supposed to envy these pale soap skinned specimens on a Calendar that have neither muscle or brawn? They look like furtive members of The St.Vincent de Paul and should have kept their shirts on to advertise a sheep-dip or fertilizer.

Excommunicate them and their white bodies.

I said it last year and I'll say it again this year. "Shirtless" and "Naked" are NOT the same thing. Shirtless is BORING. Quit trying to market these tame , tired knock-offs as something inventive, radical, or worth my money or time. Guys, take it ALL off if you want my attention.

Great idea. Didn't I see a calendar featuring female Irish Travellers about three years ago also? I seem to remember a lot of fuss about that at the time. They were all really pretty but of course so many men just couldn't get over their predjuces to admit that, prefering instead to fork out their cash to ogle inferior slappers from the British tabloids!
