The best times I have had traveling, not just in Ireland, but Wales, Scotland and England, have all been due to my staying in bed and breakfasts, hostels and even a castle I just happened upon because I took a notion to motor up an "uncharted" dirt road! I have met wonderful people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures. "Tourist traps" certainly do NOT present an accurate picture of ANY country's bests assets.

I recently returned from a two week vacation of a soulful lifetime in Ireland. I highly recommend a ferry boat ride across the Atlantic Ocean and off Donegal to Tory Island!
