No harm in enjoying them, but many of these sayings have been heard for years among those with no Irish ancestry. I don't consider many of them to be particularly "Irish." And no, I don't think others "stole" them from the Irish.

And a prayer that the Pope, who hates gay people will be removed and sent to a nursing home where he cannot continue to destroy the church of so many............The church which is supposed to be for social justice for all, Irish or not, catholic or not.
