Judging from the movies and Americans I know persobally, Irishmen have firmly supplanted Englsihmen as the preferred objects of desire for professioanl American women. So what is it about them that makes them so attractive, and makes the rest of us so jealous?! Well, they are a lot happier than the English and a lot less complicated. They are jovial, light hearted, even tempered, fun loving, very sociable and of course, they are always up for it. But most of all they are not intellectually and professionally accomplished. This is most important, the last thing that the professional woman wants is a man competing with her. What she wants is what the professional man has always wanted, a partner who slots into his life without changing it at all. So don't be so smug young Irishman, it's not a compliment that she wants you, it's the measure of your disposability ... her real realtionship remains with herself! Still you get all the oats you can bury your randy muzzle in so I gues you're happy!

Couldthe obvious dissimilarities between the DNA of men born in Ireland and those of U.S. birth (including men of Irish parentage) account for the enormous differences between men born on opposite sides of the Atlantic. Having long been married to a W.A.S.P. whose ancestors arrived in New England in the mid-1600s, my own experience my be of interest to Molly and Patti. One of the many reasons why I found my future wife so suitable from the start was because of her keen interest in so many things Irish, including an teanga Gheailge (words and phrases of which we use daily). This dedicated Methodist congregant and active D.A.R. member often accompanies me to Catholic mass, also to county American Legion meetings, where I'm the chaplain. We share the same political views and we equally love America, also the ame moral values in that we both are pro-life and pro-family. God bless America (all 50 states) and God save Ireland (all 32 counties.
