The gathering is said to be "an exciting national initiative, anyone who has Irish blood ...". Would someone please tell me the meaning of the terms "national initiative" and "Irish blood". The reason why I ask this question is because for at least a quarted century the government of the Southern Irish state has officially regarded the six British-held Irish counties as a permnent part of G.B. As one who was born in London to Irish parents and married to a New England Methodist who has family connections in County Down, would the Free State Tousin Board officials include me and my wife among those whom they regard as persons of Irish blood? I'd really like to know the answer, and so ould she. Ceist eoile: An bhfuil fáilte sa Saorstát raibh Gaeilgeoirí mar sinne?
